Bill's message this week will be on "Reversal of Fortune," Psalms 107:1-7 and 33-37. We'll hang out and have coffee at Wesley after the service. *
10/28 Friday 4:30 p.m.	Leave for Cass Community Retreat	Coming on the Cass trip with us? Make sure you're at the church and ready to leave before 4:30. Let a leadership team member know if you need a ride; we'll be back in the afternoon on Sunday the 30th.
10/30 Sunday 10:30 a.m.	UUMC Sunday Morning Service	Students are always welcome at Sunday worship at the University United Methodist Church.
10/30 Sunday 5:30 p.m.	Sunday Dinner and Movie	We'll share pizza together at 5:30 after returning from the Cass mission trip, and then watch "Source Code" together. *

Like haunted houses? Social justice? Working with the homeless? Experiencing new and different church services? Spending time with your Wesley Foundation friends? Come with us to Detroit for the Cass Community Services Retreat, from October 28-30. We'll spend some time doing volunteer work for the agency on Saturday morning, and then have a chance to dress in our spookiest getups to work their haunted house for charity that night. Cost is $40, you can RSVP at our Facebook event or talk to a leadership team member for details. For those going on the trip: we leave at 4:30 on Friday afternoon, and you can find a packing list here.

We're looking for student volunteers to help us with game day football parking at UUMC on Saturday, November 5! Parking will be done in shifts, with 6-8 people needed between 10 a.m. and noon, and a couple of people needed to guard the lot from noon until 4 p.m. Please see Bill or a leadership team member if you're interested in helping out.

10/21 Friday 6:00 p.m.	MSU Homecoming Parade	We have a float in the Homecoming Parade again this year! Please come and represent Wesley, all ages are welcome. Staging for the parade is along Abbot Road, beginning at the Hannah Community Center (819 Abbot). Please join between 4:30 and 5:30; ask a leadership team member if you have any questions.

WE ALSO NEED HELP BUILDING AND DECORATING OUR HOMECOMING FLOAT. Leadership team members will be in the driveway/garage of the Brown House (on Sever Drive, just next door to Wesley) after 5:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week: please stop by, even if it's just for a little bit, to help us build and paint!
