This week, Bill will be preaching, and we all want to show up to support him. This morning will be extra special because the people at UUMC will be passing out finals week goodie bags (filled with gum, snacks, etc.) to all the students who attend. *

Sunday Program: Study Night and De-Stress Games We'll have dinner and plenty of snacks to fuel your late-night cramming on Sunday, as well as Rock Band and board games. Sara Cardinal will be giving massages, and rumor has it there will be a dog around to pet and play with. The Sunday program this week will be held on the lower level of UUMC. *

Finally, Tuesday, December 13th is our annual Midnight Breakfast. Come to Wesley at 10 p.m. and bring your friends, because there will be plenty of French toast, fried potatoes, and custom-made omelets to go around.*

Sunday Program: Annual Board Dinner and Talent Show
It's the most wonderful time of the year! This Sunday, the Wesley Foundation Board of Directors will serve us a great meal, and afterward we'll provide the entertainment! Let a leadership team member know if you've got a talent you'd like to share, otherwise come ready to eat and have fun. *

Coming up on Saturday, December 10th is the 3rd Annual Ladies Candlelight Christmas Tea! We still need volunteers: guys to serve tea to the ladies of the UMW, and girls to sit at the tables and tell the women all about what's going on at MSU and Wesley. Let a leadership team member know if you'd be interested in serving or socializing.

On Sunday, December 11th, Bill we be preaching at the 10:30 a.m. morning service at UUMC, and we all want to show up to support him! That morning is also special because the people at UUMC will be passing out finals week goodie bags (filled with food, gum, and other fun extras) to the students who show up. That night, during our regular 5:30 p.m. programming time, we'll have dinner and de-stress/study sessions, as well as massages.

Like haunted houses? Social justice? Working with the homeless? Experiencing new and different church services? Spending time with your Wesley Foundation friends? Come with us to Detroit for the Cass Community Services Retreat, from October 28-30. We'll spend some time doing volunteer work for the agency on Saturday morning, and then have a chance to dress in our spookiest getups to work their haunted house for charity that night. Cost is $40, you can RSVP at our Facebook event or talk to a leadership team member for details. For those going on the trip: we leave at 4:30 on Friday afternoon, and you can find a packing list here.

Fall Retreat to Pentwater, MI
Got nothing to do this weekend? Want to get away from campus for a while? Join us on a trip to Lake Michigan for the weekend!

Cost is $25 and includes everything but meals to and from Pentwater. We'll leave from Wesley at 5:00 on Friday and return in the afternoon on Sunday the 18th.

Are you free next weekend, September 16th-18th? Do you want to get away from campus for a little while and spend some time at the beach, on a retreat with your fellow Wesley Foundation students? You should join us for our annual Pentwater Retreat, on the shores of Lake Michigan! We'll swim under the stars, have a campfire and s'mores, and spend some reflective time thinking about God and the school year ahead.

Cost is $25 and includes everything but meals on the way there and back. We leave from campus at 5:00 p.m. on Friday the 16th, and we'll return during the afternoon on Sunday the 18th. All are welcome, please don't hesitate to ask a leadership team member for details!

Welcome Week Schedule: 8/29-9/4

8/29 Monday 7:00 p.m. U-Fest at the Union and Meijer Moonlight Madness We'll have a van run around campus (starting at 6:30, see times here) to take students to U-Fest at the MSU Union at 7:00, where there are free activities, food samples, giveaways and more.

We'll pick you back up around nine to stop off at Wesley before going to Meijer Moonlight Madness, where you can stock up on snacks or last-minute school supplies.
